I bring nearly 30-years of professional experience in the contracting world. I am well versed in government, state & local, commercial, and international contracting. As an executive with a hands-on approach, I put forth whatever time and energy is required in accomplishing my goals. I am adept at building teams that are cross-functional so that everyone can participate rather than waiting for their turn. My fellow coworkers and I work in an environment that erases titles and barriers so that everyone is participating to accomplish a common goal – winning. I am process oriented and have developed a complete manual on business pursuits from cradle to grave. This has represented a formula where proposals are completed with the right customer insight, quality, compliance, and competitiveness. I ensure that everyone that participates in these wins are incentivized and rewarded accordingly.
My background has always been a passion for technology, electronics, and art. By the time I was fourteen I received first place in the state-wide Virginia electronics competition and at age seventeen won the Virginia Industrial Arts Award from T.C. Williams High School. I was a member of the gifted arts program throughout the Alexandria school system from fourth grade through graduation.
Since the start of my work at Morgan and Cheeves I was solicited through word-of-mouth all the way to where I am working presently. Sysorex hired me as an intern at the age of eighteen, through the recommendations of a fulltime employee that was presently a team lead on the IRS contract. I always knew that education was important to me, however with my capabilities in many other areas, Sysorex’ president, Mr. Bob Foley, Jr. would not allow me to leave at the end of the internship. I weighed in on the two choices heavily, and decided the real life experience with some of the best heavy weights in the industry would be more beneficial than returning to school.
I was hired by Win Labs, a key computer supplier on Sysorex contracts, through a personal request from WIN Labs’ president, Mr. Winfred Wu, directly to Mr. Foley. Mr. Foley encouraged me to join and bring the successes that I learned at Sysorex over to WIN Labs.
In 1996 Mr. Harry Martin, Jr. solicited me through a mutual acquaintance to come a speak to him. I had won many of the government contracts that Intelligent Decisions was pursuing at the time and Mr. Martin wanted me to join his company. In February of 1997, I joined Intelligent Decisions and have been the main factor for the success the company has enjoyed in the nearly 20-years that I have been here.
Finally, and most importantly, my motto is work hard and play hard. Outside of my professional environment (I call my professional and personal life, my “lifestyle”) I am a committed family man spending as much time with my wife Jasmin, son Isham and daughter Ipshi as possible. I am passionate in my hobbies, which include collecting guitars and fountain pens, working on my many electronics projects, and my biggest project, working on the first car I purchased with my father: a 1968 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 convertible.
We immigrated to America in 1974 when I was only four years old. In 1994, my father, older brother, and I started a university in the small village from which we came. Since then the university has taken off and is accredited by the government, and since 1994, we have spent our personal resources and time giving to the underprivileged through healthcare, education, food, clothing, and employment.
